Tung Ho Textile recently unveiled natural stretchable, anti-pilling, and eco-friendly functional yarns; its featured innovative products are, Seawool environmentally-friendly yarn, Umorfil skin-friendly, and warm yarns. Tung Ho hopes to bring out a new industry trend of functional spun yarns.

According to Tsai, Sui-Ying, Chairperson of Tung Ho Textile, Tung Ho has established a professional research and development center this year, designated for the development of environmentally-friendly and composite functional spun yarns to position itself as a “Multilateral Functional Spun Yarn Expert”; and Tung Ho has developed up to 15 production lines of special yarns so far. The Company is able to respond quickly and satisfy customer’s specific needs in small quantities with great product varieties. Furthermore, the company is focused on developing its overseas high-end markets in Europe, the USA, and Japan.

Chairperson Tsai pointed out, Tung Ho Textile has never ceased to develop new yarns, improve the production process, develop environmentally-friendly and composite function spun yarns, and the company endeavours to reduce industrial waste. The environmentally-friendly yarns are made of recycled PE bottles, discarded scales of milkfish, and recycled oyster shells. With the use of the special environmentally-friendly functional fiber of Taiwan and advanced milling technology, Tung Ho Textile created distinctive environmentally-friendly and functional spun yarn in Taiwan, such as  warm yarn made of new materials and hollow polyester spun yarn. Further to the porous structure of the hollow fiber, the yarn also has a microporous structure. The new fabric allows for a light weight in finished textile products, and the light weight winter clothes made of this material are able to keep consumers extremely warm.
