At the 2025 Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS, Booth N3308), Tungho Textile—an industry-leading manufacturer of functional short-fiber yarns—presents three major themes: International Certifications & Industrial Compostability & Biodegradable Materials, Low-temperature Dyeability & High Energy Efficiency, and Agricultural Waste Recycling & Circular Economy. The showcase highlights Tungho’s comprehensive capabilities from material sourcing to process optimization, addressing the global trend in which brands seek both performance and sustainability.

Chairperson Cai Shu-Ying noted that Tungho’s R&D team leverages big data to enhance manufacturing processes, having accumulated more than 3,000 specialized yarn formulas and parameters. This foundation supports production traceability and intelligent manufacturing management, ensuring formula accuracy and consistent product quality. Tungho continues to dedicate itself to functional short-fiber yarns, specializing in diverse blends and long-short fiber composite technologies. She added that in sustainable materials, the company not only selects pure natural fibers but also actively incorporates recycled wool, recycled nylon, and ocean-recovered materials, while expanding the use of agricultural waste (such as pineapple leaves, banana stems, oyster shells, and fish scales) to create high-value eco-functional yarns. Tungho is certified by internationally recognized standards including GRS, GOTS, OCS, RWS, USCTP, and BCI, providing data-driven and compliant support for brands’ material selection and ESG commitments.

This year’s exhibit centers on the theme “Lower Energy, Better Experience,” featuring three highlights:

   Tungho introduces officially certified industrial-compostable fibers—exclusively brought into Taiwan—combining high performance with circularity to help brands accelerate adoption of sustainable materials.

2. Low-temperature Dyeability • High Energy Efficiency
   Low-temperature dyeing formulas reduce energy use and carbon emissions while maintaining colorfastness and handfeel, striking a balance between mass-production efficiency and environmental responsibility.

3. Agricultural Waste Regeneration • Circular Economy
   Utilizing agricultural residues as fiber sources, Tungho promotes resource regeneration and waste reduction at the yarn level, building a transparent and trustworthy circularity narrative for consumers.
