Tung Ho Textile Co., Ltd. is dedicated to researching and producing unique short fiber yarns. They have successfully met market demand for environmentally friendly and functional textile products, positioning themselves as comprehensive experts in functional short fiber textiles. At the TITAS exhibition, they showcased a variety of environmentally friendly functional short fiber yarns, including their new product, pineapple fiber yarn.

Chairwoman Shu-ying Tsai and her team embrace the spirit that 'opportunity is for those who are well-prepared' in their ongoing pursuit of innovation. Under the leadership of Chairwoman Shu-ying Tsai, Tung Ho Textile continues to innovate and develop multiple special yarn production lines. They have introduced over 2,000 special yarn varieties, with special yarn production accounting for more than 60% of their overall product output and generating over 70% of their sales revenue.

Chairwoman Shu-ying Tsai states that, in line with their commitment to the core value of sustainable development, Tung Ho Textile has methodically examined, calculated, and enhanced various aspects, including low-carbon materials, clean energy, and process energy efficiency, to attain product carbon footprint certification. This year, they have taken the first step towards a net-zero transformation by conducting an organizational greenhouse gas inventory in accordance with ISO 14064 standards. This initiative is intended to lay the groundwork for future carbon reduction policies with the aim of decreasing energy consumption.

She emphasizes that they actively incorporate environmentally friendly materials, such as organic cotton (Organic Content Standard, OCS), responsible wool (Responsible Wool Standard, RWS), and waste recycling. Moreover, they have introduced zero-carbon fibers from the Lenzing Group to align with international carbon management and environmental protection goals. As a result, they have obtained certifications including OCS, GOTS, GRS, and RWS, solidifying their status as a qualified supplier of eco-friendly textile products. In recent years, they have partnered with customers to develop distinctive and valuable products, actively participating in the development and innovation of international brands. They offer a diverse range of functional materials and have introduced specialized spinning technologies, leading to the production of siro wrapped yarns (combining long and short fibers), as well as siro-fuse satin yarns.

This year, Tung Ho Textile has introduced new products, including pineapple fiber yarn and textile waste recycling yarn, both made from agricultural waste materials, creating renewed value through recycling. They have also introduced new functional materials such as sweat stain-concealing yarn (Combo dull), UV-resistant yarn (MicroNova), body-enhancing Ceravida Recover, and mechanical elastic yarn as a substitute for elastic fibers to meet customer demands for enhanced functionality.
